@sandraferrari: 🏀🔥 TRAE YOUNG RETURNS TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN… AND THE KNICKS GET A WAKE-UP CALL! 😱🗽 The Garden was buzzing, the rivalry was back, and Knicks Nation had plenty to talk about! On October 8, 2026, the New York Knicks welcomed the Washington Wizards to Madison Square Garden for a preseason showdown featuring a familiar face — Trae Young! 👀 Knicks fans know Young's history at the Garden. From unforgettable playoff battles to his famous interactions with the New York crowd, he's never been an ordinary visitor to MSG. And this time, he arrived wearing a Washington Wizards jersey! 💙🧡 THE KNICKS STARTED STRONG! New York took a 63–57 lead into halftime, giving fans reason to believe the team was in control. But Washington wasn't finished. The Wizards battled back in the second half, eventually escaping Madison Square Garden with a narrow 111–109 victory. 🏀 Anthony Davis — 16 points 🏀 Trae Young — 15 points 🏀 AJ Dybantsa — 11 points 🏀 Jalen Brunson — 13 points for New York FINAL: WIZARDS 111 — KNICKS 109 But before anybody starts panicking, remember one important thing: 🚨 IT'S ONLY PRESEASON! These games are about testing rotations, building chemistry, evaluating players, and preparing for the battles that truly count. A two-point preseason loss doesn't define a championship contender. And if there's one thing Knicks Nation knows, it's that the atmosphere at Madison Square Garden changes completely when the regular season begins! 🔥 The real question is whether New York can sharpen its defense, improve its late-game execution, and build the momentum needed for another championship run. 💙🧡 KNICKS NATION, I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU! 👇 Are you concerned about the preseason losses, or are you confident the Knicks will be ready when the games count? 💬 COMMENT "NOT WORRIED" if you believe in this team! 🔥 COMMENT "WAKE-UP CALL"if you think New York needs to make adjustments! 🏆 LET'S GO KNICKS! NEW YORK FOREVER! 🗽 #NewYorkKnicks #KnicksNation #TraeYoung #MadisonSquareGarden #NBA2026
