ventis design stands out and is more recognizable, tsaritsa is gorgeous dont get me wrong but she doesnt stand out enough for an archon 😭

From a character design perspective venti is objectively better

people REALLY don't know how character designs work and it shows 😭 venti's is genuinely so nice to look at because he himself has a color scheme that visually communicates to us regarding his personality as well as his appearance being so carefree. the Tsaritsa's design is so monochromatic; your eyes don't know where to even look at. regardless of the fact her model is more detailed, detailed doesn't equal better. Venti's looks better in terms of character design

I mean, they aren't wrong. From and artist's perspective, Venti is much more interesting to look at. Not to mention his clothes fit his nation, unlike miss micro-skirt-in-the-coldest-nation-in-Tevayt. His silhouette and outfit is also much more unique.

imagine being a pawn in a game but your king is already gone so your suck as a pawn while your teammate is a queen

Venti’s nice to look at cause he’s got a colour palette going on, snow queen is just dressed up at the 50 shades of bluey grey

venti has a merchandisable design. Tsaritsa is pretty but not memorable

what makes venti so interesting design wise is because he uses contrasting colours which makes him stand out more. Green white colour scheme for his outfit with his black hair, making it pop out even more. Nowadays genshins colour scheme for their characters are just monochromatic colours😭

tsaritsa is definitely prettier, but if venti’s model ever got an update to match the art style of 7.x i think he’d be better tbh

his 3d model may be outdated, but his design is still one of the most interesting in the game. Whilst it maintains the green color, it's not oversaturated with green tones and manages a very diverse color pallete which makes it more captivating.

In terms of character design, Venti is still superior, the Tsaritsa is pretty but her outfit lacks originality since it’s just the same format with a lot of females in Genshin and barely any creativity

They aren't wrong lol. Venti is memorable, it's iconic. You remember who he is right away. Tsaritaa is good, sure, but definitely not memorable to the same degree. "Just pretty" is not enough for a design to be memorable.

i do get their point though. tsaritsa pretty much looks like the rest of the snow queens we've had since childhood. there's nothing much that stands her above the rest, that's why people complained that her design is too playsafe. however someone would still complain that she doesn't look like an ice queen if she doesn't adhere to other's expectations. just look at mavuika, she looks iconic with her bodysuit and flamebike, but i still don't think it makes her look like a war goddess at all.

tsaritsa has the better model but her design is like a generic elsa, while venti has the better character design and his design actually makes sense
