@camplifenation: NYCC Apologizes After Repeated Interruptions Prompt Brandon Rogers to Confront Fan During Panel A Helluva Boss panel at New York Comic Con turned tense Thursday night when an audience member repeatedly shouted over the speakers. Brandon Rogers tried several times to stop the interruptions. Then he stood up, walked toward the crowd from the stage, and demanded that staff intervene. Footage shows the actor using profanity and threatening to make the attendee leave. At one point, he threatened to jump over the barrier and “end you.” He also repeatedly questioned why event staff had not stepped in. Now, organizer ReedPop has apologized. In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, the company called the incident a “repeated disturbance” and acknowledged that its response came too late. “While the situation was addressed after the panel, action was not taken swiftly enough,” ReedPop said, apologizing to the speakers, moderator, and audience. The company said it was taking steps to respond faster to future incidents. It did not specify how this situation was resolved afterward. Rogers also explained his reaction, saying the interruptions disrespected his fellow panelists and disrupted the experience for fans who had waited hours. “I will always step in to protect that space,” he said. The panel was meant to celebrate the animated series and its community. Instead, its organizer is now acknowledging that the people onstage were left waiting too long for help.
