@thenineonefour: On this day in 1992, a meteorite crashed into a parked car in Peekskill. A fireball lit up the sky that Friday night. People at high school football games caught it on video. Then a rock the size of a bowling ball came down on Wells Street and smashed right through the trunk of a red Chevy Malibu. A piece of it is at the American Museum of Natural History today.
