@harukamori.jp: Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge have ended their nine-year relationship, and the breakup comes after renewed attention surrounding Cory’s flirty interactions with a fellow contestant on The Challenge. The reality TV couple confirmed their separation on Instagram Thursday, October 8, with both sharing emotional statements about starting a new chapter. Taylor, 32, made it clear that she was the one who ended things. She said she had grown tired of not receiving basic respect from the man she had been with for nine years and shares two children with. “I deserve more than that,” she wrote, signaling that she was ready to move forward. Cory, 35, also addressed the split, sharing a photo with his three daughters: Mila, 6, and Maya, 4, whom he shares with Taylor, and Ryder, 9, from his previous relationship with Cheyenne Floyd. He acknowledged that he had made mistakes and apologized to Taylor for the ways he had let her down. The breakup follows controversy surrounding Cory’s flirty on-screen interactions with The Challenge castmate Izzy Fairthorne during Season 42. Izzy later said she had been shocked by the situation and questioned whether she had been given the full picture of his relationship at home. Cory previously addressed the drama publicly, saying he had apologized to the person who needed to hear it most and planned to handle the rest privately. Now, he says his focus is on raising his daughters, learning from his mistakes, and becoming a better version of himself. After nearly a decade together, the two are facing a different future—while their children remain at the center of their lives.
