Never knew anything about planetary symbols but growing up I LOVED writing the number 4 in a super unique way. No idea where I learned it. Got in trouble for writing like that but I loved it and didn't stop for years. Looked at my chart the first time and in a period of serious self discovery. I immediately saw that same familiar symbol was sitting on my ascendant. I was shocked. It was Jupiter, in Virgo, and I immediately understood this was significant before I really understood why

for me was my saturn in pisces 9th house. my saturn return made me religious then I fell out of religion the more I read about it. my search for understanding the universe got me onto astrology :)

For me it wasn't one particular placement, it was looking at my chart in depth for the first time after learning my actual birth time and every placement making sense.

I'm still learning so I don't really have an answer. plus I am guessing at my time of birth b/c i am adopted. my intuition tells me it's 9:11 pm so that is what I use, but there is always this gnawling "but what if it's wrong."

was the career because of the book? for me i dont know if its moon in 3rd, saturn conjuct mercury in picies or uranus in the 29th degree. but my wishful thinking is that it was the moon in 3rd.

Being very jealous of Scorpios, trying to convince others that I feel like a scorpio more than a Capricorn. Then I learned I’m a scorpio ascendant, and being read to filth by very specific aspects of my chart made me freak out and as soon as I started really understanding it, things started to get so much better.

Didn't believe it at first because tropical said I was Scorpio, looked it up like 6 years later and it said I had a Virgo moon, still didn't feel fully true but I did feel like a Virgo. Looked up sidereal and it said I'm a Virgo with a Leo moon and my world opened up.
