My parents are the only reason I made it out. They never left my side. Sitting in court rooms, visiting me in jail and rehab, my mom religiously going to ANON. I would genuinely be dead if my parents gave up on me.

Addiction isn’t always trauma induced!! Programs like AA and similar rehabs that focus on those challenges aren’t always effective. My brother-in-law found success when a new psychologist recommended Zepbound (GLP-1). He goes to therapy weekly to work on the mental part of his addiction but taking this drug has absolutely changed his life.
