@ruralradionetwork: Cattle traders may be looking beyond the immediate supply situation as the reopening of the U.S.-Mexico border begins to change the longer-term outlook for beef production. Brad Kooima of KKV Trading said the reopening will not immediately add significant numbers of fed cattle to the U.S. market because most of the cattle coming across the border are feeder cattle that will spend months in the feeding system.
