@soyraf: Today I’m keeping it simple. With Sábanas Blancas playing in the background, this one feels a little like Cuba to me: simple food, good music, and no need to complicate things. Sometimes the best way to eat is also the simplest: ripe tomato, good bread, olive oil, and a little salt. I sliced the tomatoes nice and thin, added some olive oil, and let them do all the work. Then I toasted a piece of bread until it was crispy and used it to soak up all that tomato juice and olive oil. Nothing fancy. Just tomato, bread, and olive oil. And, of course, an espresso to finish it off. A little taste of simplicity, with Cuba playing in the background.
