Everyone tells you to build an app with AI, but nobody shows you what it takes. Today is the tech stack. An app is four pieces. The front end is what people see and click on. The back end is the code running behind it. The database is where your users' information lives. And your API keys are the passwords your app uses to talk to other services, which all have to stay hidden. Then you have to connect every one of them to each other, and that part is the most tedious thing ever. I'm building this entire app on @Replit. I describe the app, and it writes the front end, connects the back end, creates the database, adds the login system, and keeps my API keys hidden. Then it deploys it to a live link I can send to anyone. Stripe is already built in, so the app can take payments the second it goes live. I'm starting with a web app. Apple takes 30% of everything you sell in the App Store, or 15% if you apply for their small business program. On the web that cut is zero, and Replit can turn the same app into a mobile app later. The first version doesn't have to be that good. It just has to work, so you guys can use it, break it, and tell me what to change. Next video I'll show you what I started building and how I came up with the idea. Follow along for day 3.
