When you arrive in Austria, dont stay on the highway, drive the country roads through the alps. Many people also like to drive those roads with pretty/exotic cars, so your chance is even higher.

Some suggestions for Germany: Rossfeld-Panorama Road, in Berchtesgaden is well worth driving around. As a huge Mazda fan, there is a Mazda Museum in Augsburg, which is something you would not expect in Germany, aside from the obvious automotive museums you mentioned.

if youre down for a small de-tour: theres a special exhibition dedicated to the audi 5 cylinder engine in the audi museum ingolstadt. around 50 minutes up north from munich. they are celebrating 50 years of 5 cylinders :)

If you’re leaving by Le Shuttle or by ferry from Dover, you could take a very small detour to come to see the rare 1971 Swiss Monteverdi that won at Salon Privè Chelsea earlier this year. We can also chat Boxster, I have the same age car, it’s my most loved!

i live in karlsruhe which would be right on your route there is someone in my neighborhood who has this car in the picture (it still drives) other than that there is a verkehrsmuseum which has super interesting cars and if you are interested in historic trains there is a historisches depot 1913
