@histoiremarche: FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION: FALLY IPUPA feat. WIZKID — "JAM". 🇨🇩🇳🇬 A meeting of languages. A meeting of cultures. One African sound. "JAM" brings together two of Africa's most influential musical worlds: Congolese superstar, global icon Fally Ipupa and Nigerian global icon Wizkid. Rooted in Central Africa, Fally Ipupa has built his musical identity primarily through Lingala, carrying the sounds and culture of the Democratic Republic of Congo to audiences around the world. On "JAM", he connects that universe with Wizkid and the musical energy of Nigeria and West Africa. The result is more than a collaboration: It is a bridge. Through Lingala, French and Nigerian Pidgin, "JAM" demonstrates something fundamental about African music: music has no language barrier. Different languages, different regions and different musical traditions can meet within one melody and still speak directly to the same audience. Musically, "JAM" is built around a warm, fluid and infectious Afro-inspired melody, balancing Fally Ipupa's distinctive melodic sensibility with Wizkid’s effortless delivery. Neither artist loses his identity in the collaboration. Instead, their individual sounds complement one another, creating a record that feels simultaneously Congolese, Nigerian, African and global. The response from listeners has reflected that connection. Five months after its April 2026 release, "JAM" has surpassed 12 MILLION streams on Spotify, 32 MILLION streams accros all platforms, while its official music video has generated more than 14 MILLION views on YouTube. The record also reached #4 on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart and #9 on the Billboard US Afrobeats songs chart, further demonstrating its ability to travel beyond linguistic and geographical boundaries. From Kinshasa to Lagos, from Francophone Africa to Anglophone Africa, and from Africa to the world, "JAM" represents the power of collaboration on a continent where hundreds of languages coexist but rhythm needs no translation. Two artists. Two musical worlds. Multiple languages. One Africa. One JAM. FALLY IPUPA feat. WIZKID — "JAM" 🇨🇩🇳🇬 FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION.
