M-ați dus în copilărie... Tatăl meu era ofițer asta prin anul 1955. La o serbare la Casa armatei de Moș Gerilă , fie-care copil când primea punga cu cadou, recita o poezie. Când mi-a venit rândul am recitat această poezie,dar bine înțeles am fost oprită la timp. Bunica m-a învățat și bineînțeles ce-a urmat acasă după acest show ....nu vreți să știți.

- This week we’re talking work and ungrateful employers. Am I the most qualified to speak on this? Absolutely not. I say this as an extremely burnt out and exhausted employee. Do not buy into the hustle mentality and think your job is going to protect you because you work like a dog for them. Loyalty to a company means nothing. You are one piece to a puzzle, and it’s easy to cut shapes. It may not fit perfectly, but as long as the job gets done, it makes no difference to most companies. I work at a company that has mandatory overtime and on call. The mandatory overtime isn’t the worst part. I don’t mind that because I can work around a day or two throughout the month. Now, being on call is a whole different beast. It’s not as easy to pick a day to be on call, because I hate deviating from my routine, and that requires me to pick a time a MONTH in advance and then just be ready to go if someone can’t make it to their shift… How is that normal? Now, normal looks different to a lot of people, but I definitely prefer the normal where freedom of time and time autonomy is a thing. Freedom of time is… hmm, how do I put this? Freedom of time will change the way you live your life… literally. Learning to treat work as a side quest has been the best thing for me. I don’t want to be a normal adult… GROSS. If you actually enjoy your 9-5… what do you do? I have been at my current company for 6 years. In those six years, I’ve grown a lot, but I’ve grown into a version of myself who no longer allows people to walk all over me. I will speak up when I find a practice to be unfair. I have given quite a bit of myself to this company to get very little in return. I love the work I do, but it helps to feel appreciated in a way that’s not mandatory overtime or being on call, and it’s sure as hell not a company luncheon… I want to see some cash money. I want a real, livable raise. I want to be able to have work life balance like the people who get to work a standard schedule. So many industries lean on their frontline workers, the ones actually doing the hands on work, and call them the backbone of the company.
