The head-binding thing was pulled from an actual tradition in the Middle East BC and the Mayans also did it. Fan fact I heard from a friend who’s an archaeologist who worked on a dig in South America.

Hannah 🩷 :

this might be controversial to say but i'd love it if another author could write something set in this eastern half of Essos. it could be only semi-canon or something like that, but it would be so cool to see what an East Asian author would do with this particular setting

glenmusa975 :

reminds me of tomyris and Cyrus

no♡ :

This story with the golden skull cup passed down as a sort of sacred heirloom and the cunning ways she fought against Yi Ti really reminded me of the historical figure of han Krum the Bulgarian ruler who fought against the Byzantine empire and was dubbed both the Cruel but also as Law-maker/Counceler and according to legends he employed not only men to his army but also the women

! MAB The Dreamer :

if you had a chance to be an actor in GOT who would it be and why? 💭

I really dont have a specific thing to ask about but what is some of the most niche parts of the lore you find really cool or interesting that you think little people know or talk about

grrmartin is so knowledgable on western cultures, but man he does not understand how nomad societies actually function on a basic level. the jogos nhai and dothraki are straight up rascist caricature. ik its just made up to sound foreign but how would these random customs work realistically when real nomad societies have rhyme and reason behind their "foreign" traditions. imagine ur culture is dependent on an imported animal during a time where trade is costly, ur appearance and clothing make no sense for its environment. how r u headbinding when the weathers so rough ud need hats 24/7. and how would a society who cannot farm (so are reliant on animal produce) be smaller in stature than the dothraki who live the same or in general. historic accounts of the mongols note that theyre big for their era due to animal priduce being more rich calories

Mashabylka :

Thank you very much for your videos! I always watch it to the end🤎 Will you have a video about Yi-ti?

jyahnar :

Hiiiii can you answer how Cersei would think of myrcella being smarter than her

Unhxly⨷ :

Seems like Westeros needs to take some notes on the men and women situation 😂

Nono :

Totally unrelated but when are we gonna discuss the fact that Harren The Black had a brother who was Lord commander of the night's watch during the burning of Harrenhall 🙂

goborokoru :
