no doubt in my mind ATLA would be viewed as “woke slop” if it aired today looking at these comments

tha avatar world was diverse from the start why do we need to pat ourselves on the back for it now. Its performative now and that's why people get annoyed. Back in the day they juet did it without the fanfare.

Thank you for sharing my story. I hope it inspires you to be yourself, find the hero within, and know you are enough just as you are. ❤️

Can't wait for a trans south African fire avatar after these duo! His/her team avatar can have a gay chick waterbender, non-binary earthbender and a genderfluid grumpy teen airbender!

avatar seven havens is great idk why fans are so mad about skin color like it’s not that deep? a lot of atla had indian culture already but now that they put darker skin characters it’s a problem? wowwww fake avatar fans fr

Genuinely if you don’t like the new show your either close minded, racist, or homophobic. And it really is that simple. I went in skeptical but it was a good start to the show. It feels close to ATLA & TLK art style. As long as they aren’t using AI on the show. It’s actually good. Yes the shapes for elements is frustrating and kinda dumb but if you watch the show you realize their is probably a reason for that, that we will learn later on. All 3 of the tv shows in this fandom have been great so far. I can’t wait to watch more.

I'm really happy to see south asian representation in the show. I'm trying to learn more about other cultures around the world and I really love it when cultures I see don't normally get talked about to get their own spot light and I feel honored to get to be introduced to it and learn
