I failed a class because I didn't turn in my Final exam research paper on time. it was that & a midterm test, only 2 grades for the entire class. he did tell us from day 1, if our final is 1 minute late, it's a Zero.

That kind of depends on your major. My daughter was an accounting major at USF and some of her classes were mandatory attendance and it definitely depends on what year you are. Good luck.
