@couriernewsroom: Katie Zacharia, a conservative commentator and frequent guest on right-wing media, has been picked as the next White House press secretary, according to The New York Times. She’s currently a communications adviser to Trump Media and Technology Group, the company behind Truth Social, which means the president’s next spokesperson is coming straight from a company he owns. Zacharia also had a brief stint as a DHS spokeswoman under then-Secretary Kristi Noem. She succeeds Karoline Leavitt, who left the role in August.
