@latyanicole: Ezekiel 33:32 really made me stop and examine my own heart. God tells Ezekiel that the people were listening to him, but they weren’t putting His words into practice. They enjoyed hearing the message, but their hearts weren’t actually changing. And honestly, that convicted me. It’s easy to love a good sermon, save the Bible verse, listen to the worship song, or feel encouraged by something God is showing us… but are we actually letting His Word change the way we live? I don’t want to just hear God’s Word. I want it to get into my heart. I want it to correct me, challenge me, transform me, and draw me closer to Jesus. And I know I don’t always get it right. I’m still learning. Still growing. Still being corrected. Still surrendering parts of myself to God. But I want to keep saying yes. If this verse is convicting you too, don’t let that discourage you. Let it draw you closer to Him. 🤍 Ask God, “Lord, show me what I’m hearing from You that I’m not yet putting into practice.” Then be willing to listen. Be willing to obey. Be willing to let Him change you.
