Love the lacquer ceiling, however it requires the smoothest skim coat on drywall as it shows everything

I've gone to war many, many times over ceilings. Why can't men let go of the idea that they should be blank, white, with 10 billion lights 😑

Is glossy hard to get even? Should I use a sprayer instead of a roller?

I love this! My interiors genius friend had me mix a little bit of my wall paint into my ceiling white so the paints are talking. That seemed revolutionary. These are next level ideas.

I love the wallpaper on the ceiling but my apartment is modern and therefore there’s no moldings.

I would paint my ceiling in a heartbeat but some jerk put Artex on it in the 90s so it would be a nightmare to paint and look horrible

All of the rooms in my house that have the ceiling done (paint or wallpaper) make the room feel bigger! I love it!

“what’s wrong with a room feeling smaller?” THIS! If it is small and cozy, lean into it 👍🏻 and painting it all white is not going to magically change reality: if it is a small room, it will be a white small room
