My little sister when she was 12 years old was touched by a neighbour. Though she was little she knew it was a bad touch. She came straight to me and I took a bamboo stick and beat the shit out of that guy and guess what he was so guilty he did not even utter a word. And the next day our mama and other relatives whom we stayed with was taking to him like nothing had happened. Tyo bhanda thulo betrayal maile jindagi ma bhogeko thiyena. I’ve never trusted anyone in my life then. Mama le ta malai ni pakhandi jasto dekheko cha re first time pant lagauda. I was just 15. The trauma my god. It’s never ending. Elders hudai ma respectable hunna koi ni.

In Nepali society, these things are still so hard to digest.That child could carry the trauma for a lifetime. I’ve experienced it myself, and even when you try to act normal around those people, you still end up questioning yourself, doubting your voice, and struggling to be your true self. It’s sad that this kind of mentality still exists in our society.🤬🙄

I got triggered by listening it, couldn’t even hear it all… Had gone through yesto incidents multiple times as a child or as an adult too ani still getting hard times to say no, to keep the boundaries, to speakup because of what I was programmed as a child..
