I actually agree with this to an extent, because there really is no better time to start than now, and I think there's something beautiful about realizing that you still have the opportunity to change your life while you're here. But I also think there's a danger in looking back at your younger self and wishing you had started sooner, because it can turn the time you still have into something you feel guilty for not having used perfectly. can regret not starting earlier without having to resent the person you were when you didn't know any better. Your past self had the same responsibility to live with the knowledge and circumstances they had at the time, and you can't expect them to have possessed the hindsight you only gained by becoming who you are now. We all wish we could go back with the understanding we have today, but if we could, we'd probably find ourselves wishing we had known even more. So I mean yeah, today is the youngest you will ever be again, and there is no better time to begin. But I also think it's just as important to remember that you don't have to spend the present mourning the time you lost in tthe past. You can wish that you started sooner I mean everyone thinks that but you have to be grateful that you get to start at all. Yesterdy does not diminish what you can accomplish tommorow. Time will pass regardless and I would never punish myself for not having started something I can always start tommorw.
