I grew up with a nanny who took care of me and my siblings. She was with our family for 22 years and is still apart of our lives. My parents to this day love her, when she was our nanny, they got her a cellphone (this was the 90s and early 00s lol), got her her own car, she had a free fully furnished room and bathroom, and was paid weekly. And she always got a Christmas bonus and if she had to take time off to care for family my parents would always rehire her.

The sad part because I use to work for a staffing agency years ago in corona queens we use to get people who came looking for work sharing stories like this and people would accept those situations out of desperation or need 🤨
