@naturestanaccount: Harbor seals haul out on land to thermoregulate and rest! Usually they move out of the water when the tide starts coming up in order to stay dry, but this little guy was sleepy eepy 🫶 this video was filmed from the observation deck above, NOT on the beach. Never approach wild animals, even if the beach is open. Harbor seals are particularly skittish and easily spooked.
