So I actually ordered a pickup for myself; it was little Caesar’s and they had the names for ready orders on the screen, when I walked in there was someone arguing with the worker. The worker was saying my first name over and over again and asking for the last name and the “customer” is demanding for his money back. From behind him I say my last name and then to the fake customer “you’re trying to steal MY order” and he just stared at me and walked out

The amount of places that I’ve been to that just leave the orders on a pick up shelf is scary. there are definitely dishonest people that will just go grab it even though it doesn’t belong to them.

Ugh working anywhere that did doordash or uber eats, teenagers would hang out and wait for orders to be left unattended on the counter and once our backs were turned, they would run off with the orders. Food cost went up and we would get into trouble

This reminds me so much of a Dasher who came to my job did pick up the right order, but then just stole it from the customer. Never delivered it and tried to blame us.
