Girl, you don’t take the Ambien until AFTER you’ve gotten into the bed, vac-sealed the blankets to the mattress, lights out, blinds closed. Ambien is the final step of the day you make.

One time I had an allergic reaction to something I ate so I took Benadryl and decided to have a lay down. I don’t remember what happened next but apparently my brother came to check on me and in my sleep I sat up and said “That was a really good idea.” He was like “what was?” And I said “Getting our business cards together like that. You on the front and me on the back.” He was confused and asked what I was talking about and I said “Your real estate card and my law office card.” I guess I was dreaming about business cards? I was 16 and he was 12.
