I was homeless for a year but in a really good spot in life mentally and socially. Had many adventures, learned my town, became closer with my friends, and it was oddly one of the happiest times of my life. I had it all when I had nothing.

I was homeless at 17, had the time of my life until I got pregnant then moved back in with my mom. I was lucky I had food, water, people, being homeless was an adventure and couch hopping between the homies I love it was kinda nice! ☺️

This honestly looks insanely fun. Me and my family were almost homeless and then we moved in my grandmas trailer she wasn’t using which was in terrible shape but def not as bad as not having a home . I hope you eventually find your forever home but at least your making friends and having fun

I lived in the woods for 4 months while working construction full time. used my savings to buy a nice mobile home, kept the same mentality and sold the trailer after 2 years and used the money for a down payment on my house. been here since 2011, 3% on a f.h.a loan.

Slept in a truck with my current bf from May to end of July. Before that I have slept in parks, the woods and behind abandoned buildings. I will say being homeless changed me as a person permanently. It’s nice to see that people are making this topic more mainstream.
