i got in trouble for this once. the doctor was like “how long were they waiting” and i was like i thought it was your current patient’s mom since they cane in together and were talking the whole time. then the boy left and the old lady was still there that’s when i realized.

My clinic doesn’t have this but people constantly want to check in and then leave???? And they’re always so confused as to why they can’t stay checked in if they leave. Like… how do you think this works? This isn’t Outback where you get a buzzer when we’re ready for you!

I was marked a no- show trying to get my nose pierced. I ended up waiting like two hours and got a free tattoo and free piercing after the owner noticed I was there the entire time

This happened to me & I filled out my paper work & everything. 3 ppl went & I didn’t. They had quickly squeeze me in before the lunch hour. The girl was so short. & I guess I wasn’t in her view. But another nurse came & asked who I was because she kept coming out to get ppl & kept seeing me

The one time one of my appts was checked in but was never marked in the system, so I had no idea they were here. I called them to let them know they missed their appt and they go “uhh I’m actually in one of your exam rooms…”. I was mortified, thank god she was so understanding LOL
