Dodgers are buying championships either way. Small markets making the World Series doesn’t mean it’s fair for the dodgers to spend this money. The dodgers don’t revenue share like other teams spend a 100 million more dollars than the Yankees lmao. Andy pages had a .600 ops. Freeman and Tucker who they paid for had a .900 and a 1.000 ops so yeah this is why.

Not really the point! The point is that their payroll gets them into the playoffs every year. Once in the playoffs anything can happen but a lot of lower payroll teams never get the chance. Think of payroll as a free ride to playoffs.
