Ella Langley Cancels Tulsa Concert Hours Before Showtime, But Police Say They Found “No Credible Threat” Ella Langley has canceled a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, hours before it was set to start. Police and the singer’s team are telling different stories about why. Langley, 27, announced on Friday, October 9, that her Dandelion Tour stop at the BOK Center was off. “Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show,” she wrote on Instagram. She said the decision was made with local authorities, the venue, and her security team. “This is not a decision that was made lightly,” she wrote. Her team said refund details will be shared as soon as possible. Then Tulsa Police weighed in. Local outlet News on 6, citing police, reported the show was canceled over a “false bmb threat.” Police said they swept the area with a K-9, a Bmb Team, patrol, and venue security. They said they found nothing. Police said they told the performer’s staff there was “no credible threat.” They said the staff “decided to cancel the performance anyway.” The incident is under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Tulsa Crime Stoppers. Langley’s reps declined to comment when reached by PEOPLE. Do you think canceling the show was the right call? #EllaLangley #Singer #Dandelion #Center #CountryMusic
