@sonderinto0: Someone New by Sonder was released in 2022 as the closing track of their EP TOO LATE TO DIE YOUNG. The song finds Brent Faiyaz reflecting on a relationship he failed to maintain, acknowledging his mistakes while struggling with the thought of someone he loves moving on without him Built around a melancholic, atmospheric production, the track is especially carried by Brent's layered background vocals, his haunting harmonies & overlapping melodies arguably steal the spotlight, giving the song much of its emotional weight. As the EP's closing track, Someone New leaves listeners with a lingering sense of regret and longing, making it one of Sonder's most captivating vocal performances #brentfaiyaz #sonder #edit #explore #lyrics
