@nascarnational: Just like F1 in Malaysia last week, NASCAR returns to a race date for the first time since 2017. F1 is on too, keeping themselves in the humid Asian region for the last round in the first of two tripleheaders. It’s another duo of events to satisfy your racing fix. Let’s get into it! - F1: Grand prix racing’s original night race is a great follow-up to a wild outing last time out. The 3-mile 19-turn Marina Bay Circuit is a tough venue, as it has as many tight corners as there are confines to greet drivers should they crash. With that, just a couple passing zones, & low-degrading Pirellis, expect a 1-stopper. Qualifying is vital. It’s also home of the last Sprint of the year, which will be run tomorrow. - NASCAR: Charlotte Motor Speedway’s oval is one of stock-car racing’s gems. It’s fitting then, that in a year The Chase returns, the fall date reverts to its pre-2018 form. The 1.5-mile trioval intermediate & its 24° banks provide great action because of its 20-year-old surface wearing tires down while offering multiple lanes for drivers to avoid dirty-air. That last point will be important, Chase Briscoe’s Vegas defense job is why. Which teams can setup a car with good downforce whilst not hurting the right-front will decide our contenders. - FAVORITES: Speaking of which, it’s gonna be a competitive weekend. Mercedes has made mistakes with its recent upgrades, Red Bull has gained, & Ferrari is good at downforce track. Sprint quali confirmed that, we’ll see if Verstappen, Antonelli, or Hamilton sweep. JGR will hold serve, Denny Hamlin + Christopher Bell are great at CMS. Larson finished 5th in May, & is on a roll as the points leader. - WHERE TO WATCH (US): Both races are scheduled for Sunday, October 11th. The 2026 Singapore GP is set for 8am EST on Apple TV. NASCAR’s Bank of America 400 @ 3pm EST is under heavy threat from rain so it could be a washout onto Monday, USA Network will have coverage nonetheless. - Martin Truex, Jr. won last at Charlotte’s fall date on the oval— Can the 19 with Briscoe start an unlikely comeback? Will Max go back-to-back? Hoping we get both races in on time. Enjoy!! - #NASCAR #F1 #SingaporeGP #Charlotte #Motorsport
