It’s because it was supercooled and there were no imperfections or creases in the popsicle tube, when it hit the ground, it creased and froze off of that.

Yes if you take water or something similar out at the perfect time and just squeeze the bottle alittle the entire thing with turn into this slush, my brother had a mini fridge with a tiny freezer compartment he let me put my water bottle at for school it was perfect to grab out walking out the door 😩😂

I had a bunch stacked in the freezer the bottom ones weren’t frozen but if I squished it it froze in my hand
