I just want people to understand that he is not the first person to do this. The people of the Congo have been navigating this river for decades probably centuries and I feel like the narrative that’s being projected is he’s the first person to accomplish or attempt to do something like this. It’s stupidity to me and a death wish. And with all of the issues going on in the Congo right now in regards to the genocide, this is where we have our attention at. Smh
