I call bs Dave. There’s a reason the dealers have hot flush machines. We do them every day. Very few have to be replaced. I’m 35 years in at this point

Always replace the lines and cooler. those angry eyes chevys need the bigger aftermarket transmission cooler also.

Get some mineral spirits and a pressure tank fill it up and spray pressure drive mineral spirits through the lines. Promise it’ll be OK.

I like this man.He's smart, but you can flush a granny cooler..I did a couple..I used hot diesel through it..left one in boiling water for a awhile..ends capped off..then ran hot tranny fluid through it..

I flushed my 2012 altima Trans cooler after my cvt blew and it didn't blow the transmission again.

those coolers go bad all the time. a lot of times. they'll shift real hard cuz they're restricted and bangs in the gear when it's shifting. had some trouble with a lot of that old stuff. Dave. these young guys don't work on that stuff so they you know there's little hidden things that over the years. you know that cuz you've worked on them

I replaced the tranny cooler on my 2500hd with the biggest one I could fit . And I used break clean and air hose and flushed the lines never had a problem
