@creamyposh: She was just 12 years old, but in a moment of unimaginable terror, Maya Gebala showed extraordinary courage. During the February 2026 school shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia, Canada, Maya reportedly tried to secure the library door as the attacker approached, hoping to protect her classmates. She was shot three times and suffered devastating injuries. Maya survived, but her road to recovery has been incredibly difficult. According to the circulating account, she has undergone multiple surgeries, including skull repair, and continues to face serious challenges with movement and communication. The account also claims that UFC president Dana White offered to help cover her medical treatment in Los Angeles. That detail needs independent confirmation before publication. She should never have had to be a hero. She deserved to be a child, safe in her classroom. 💔 🙏 Please keep Maya and every family affected by this tragedy in your prayers.
