I had a nurse stick me 7 times and swirl the needle around in my arm like a soup one time. It was an extremely painful experience for a middle schooler and def changed how I feel about needles. If that happened to me now I think I would look into if it was on purpose.

We had a South African NICU nurse named Rina. She was the vein GOAT for NICU babies. I once heard her say “there should be something here” and immediately got it on the first try. She retired this year. We’ll miss you Rina.
