@inventionontt: Original Video Credit: IG/burnoutdoorkitchensuk Within seconds, a cocktail glass becomes enveloped in a thick white cloud as a CO2 glass chiller rapidly cools its surface. The bartender places an inverted glass over the dispensing nozzle, activates the system, and lifts it away as cold vapor spills into the surrounding air. The device releases pressurized carbon dioxide, which expands rapidly and produces intense cooling through a combination of pressure reduction and phase changes. Some of the CO2 can briefly form dry ice particles, while the visible white cloud primarily consists of condensed moisture from the surrounding air. This process quickly lowers the glass temperature without requiring conventional refrigeration. CO2 glass chillers are used in bars and hospitality settings to prepare cold glassware immediately before serving drinks. Chilled glasses can help beverages stay cold longer while adding a distinctive visual presentation. Although these devices can cool glassware rapidly, CO2 exposure alone should not be considered a substitute for proper washing and sanitization. No copyright infringement intended.
