@cblaze410061: Living with kidney disease is exhausting, but pretending to be 'fine' is even more draining. This year has truly tested me. I've been through a lot in life and learned so much, yet nothing could have prepared me for all of this. It was much easier when I had my home, my family, and my person. Now, as I fight for my life, I'm also trying to piece my heart back together. This is all new territory for me; I went from having a family and a home of my own to being back with my mom. I miss waking up to a family, and it's something I have to get used to from here on out. I need to heal somehow, but it hasn't been easy. They say it gets better with time, but honestly, not much has changed other than me cycling through every emotion imaginable. Hopefully, better days are ahead.
