Ex-husband said I would never amount to anything without him and would end up with some trash from my hometown. As I type this I’m at the airport with my 6”5 snowboarding bro/ engineer who’s taking me on my surprise 14 day vacation before I start my dream of nursing school on Tues which he helped with financings. He wants me set up for success and confidence in life. No expensive bags and trinkets. He’s helping with education, mentoring my adult sons, makes me laugh constantly with jokes and will find me a fridge magnet at every airport xoxo
