Freezer hack is freezer gallons of water so that when and if you lose power you can keep the freezer colder longer all while having the good water in gallon form

I used to live in Florida. You learn quickly how to prepare for a hurricane. 🌀 I’m in north Alabama now, so not as much preparation needed here. (Unless it’s tornado season.)

this is how we do for winter snow storms in buffalo ny we sometimes loose power for days so we all have to prepare but no fans we have heaters

Floridian here, we do the same. One thing we do in addition is, we take all our extra Tupperware and fill it with water and put it in any empty space in the freezer. If you loose power they act as a cooler and if they eventually melt you have free water for doing daily tasks.
