I chose snowball. I like seeing the credit cards disappear. I have three loans left, but the interest is not high on those. They are just a high balance.

Avalanche makes more financial sense, but this snowball is a dopamine hit every time I pay off of a bill so I use the snowball method

Honestly, haven’t thought of it yet. My goal was to get the pickup paid off first then start on the cards. That’s the plan this weekend to see where I am and what would work best for me

Neither. I dont know what you call it icicle maybe. I paid highest monthly payment off first. In my mind if I had lost job during the process I wanted to remove biggest bills first. Paid off just under 200k in less than 3 yrs and only have my mortgage left.

depends on the amount available to throw. if i got time and just wanting to remove debt snowball. if its 2 minute warning crunch time avalanche

it's hard but i finally did it. had to buy a smaller house to do so but it feels great. I put a little something in my savings every month too. whether it's $500 or $100, I do it. it makes me smile every time.

I am team combo-platter. Started with smaller balances that could be knocked out quickly to gain momentum. Finishing those up and then will assess to switch to avalanche.

Both, my smallest balance was the highest interest. All debt fell in that the same order

Mixture. Mainly avalanche but have an eye on snowball when it gets lower. I also play with debt efficiency when it makes sense such as paying off car to free up $600 a month.
