I feel though that he got to the point of purposely mistreating me bc he didn’t want me in his life anymore…didn’t want me around…but he wasn’t going to completely leave me bc of his image looking worse so than it already did. And being able to use “me walking away from the toxic situation” against me and to his advantage.

Idt he saw cheating! But whatever…he looked stunned. I’ve given way too many chances and I think he sees me as too weak to leave. Now he’s the sulky victim and he keeps batting a reaction… it seems the happier. I am the more he sulks… we’re still living together after 19 years of marriage and three kids… he just lives in the basement now!
