letting them suffer in prison is better than killing them, in prison for life means they suffer and rot, what they deserve, but if you kill someone, they're gone, they never had to suffer, also if I killed someone, and then you kill me, it isn't even, you just continued a chain that shouldn't even be, it is also proven that in states that abolished death penalties crime rates drop, why? because if people know they will rot then they won't commit a crime, but if people know they'll just be done and over, no suffering, no rotting then they will be more likely to commit crimes, also death penalties are very costly

she's right by the way The death penalty serves zero use to society. it costs more money. it doesn't lower crime rates And if someone dies and is later proven to be innocent, you can't go back. death penalty does not have a single positive. it only has negatives and knowing all of that. if you still like the death penalty, just cuz you want to see somebody die then you are a sadistic person
