My dad stopped his dialysis 2 weeks before I got adopted (when I was finally gonna be able to see him. It was 6 years no contact bc foster care removed his right due to him being blind and I took care of him.) he had cancer and suffered daily by himself. I know if he would have continued the dialysis, I would’ve got to hug him one last time, let him feel how long my hair got and just hear his laugh one. last. time. But he was so tired… I can’t say I’m not a little mad…ik I’m being selfish. Ik He was suffering. He fought as long as he could. This song hit so hard.
