Truly don’t understand how ppl can dislike the whole show it’s a great modern adaptation of the story and it playing more into the Steven kings shine universe is awesome

I loved it, definitely agree the prom scene was a let down from how insane the original goes

cliffy 2.0🤘 :
it was risky doing the modern adaptation because most of the time it hardly works but this time they made it work really good

y'all didn't get the ending it's The shining you have to remember Stephen King's universe is connected so Carrie has The shining so does firestarter they both have the shining so to me it was like they're setting up the signing team and then introduce the villains and Dr sleep to come after Carrie and all the others so they're trying to make Carrie be the most powerful person with The shining

SERIOUSLY please I just need an adaptation where Carrie looks like herself in the book 😭

the ending isnt even bad I like how they made it their own show instead of just a 1:1 book adaptation

Phony Stark :
it's not that they aren't "letting" her be evil, this iteration of Carrie isn't, so having her kill everyone at the end as herself wouldn't have made sense

I wanted to love this, but the ending and the extra choices were very meh. But I liked the depth of the villains.

Yeah I understand the Prom scene didn't hit as we expected, but the continuation with Carrie is definitely interesting and I can't wait for season 2 and 3
