⛏️ Noah’s Ark Mystery: New Scans and Drilling Raise Questions 30 September 2026 | Durupınar Formation, Türkiye A new phase of research at the boat-shaped Durupınar Formation near Mount Ararat has renewed attention on the long-running search for Noah’s Ark. Recent radar surveys reportedly detected straight lines, right-angle intersections, layered anomalies and cavity-like spaces beneath the formation. Researchers involved in the project have described some of these features as potentially consistent with a man-made structure. Core drilling has also recovered organic-rich material, while one drill bit reportedly broke after striking an unusually hard layer that the research team says could potentially involve highly mineralized or petrified wood. However, these interpretations still require laboratory testing. The project has collected 366 core samples from depths of roughly 1–15 metres, while GPR surveys examined the subsurface to about 70 metres. Scientists are now analyzing the samples and radar data to determine whether the anomalies represent natural geology or evidence of human-made structures. #noahsark #Archaeology #AncientMysteries #Turkey #arab
