Prep the watermelon Slice off about one-third of the top of the watermelon. Using a spoon, carve out a shallow bowl in the center, leaving enough watermelon around the sides. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze overnight until completely frozen. 2. Start with a little cream Pour a small amount of heavy cream into the center of the frozen watermelon. Don’t add all of it at once. 3. Scrape & mix Using a sturdy spoon, scrape the frozen watermelon while mixing it with the heavy cream. Keep scraping and stirring until it becomes smooth, creamy, and fluffy like soft-serve. Add a little more heavy cream only as needed. 4. Fold in the Oreos Add the crushed Oreo cookies and gently fold them into the ice cream. 5. Scoop & serve Spread the diced strawberries into the bottom of a serving bowl. Scoop the watermelon ice cream on top, then finish with extra crushed Oreos and more diced strawberries. 💡 Tip * Add the heavy cream a little at a time.
