@newyorkdrumstudio: Tommy Lee — The man who turned the drum solo into a theme park adventure… roller coaster and all! Known for his huge drum sound, massive bass drums, and completely over-the-top playing, we shouldn’t expect anything less from Tommy when it comes to his drum solos. Tommy takes the entertainment aspect of music extremely seriously, as you can see in this clip of one of his many insane drum solos. At one point, you can see thousands of people in the crowd all recording what they’re watching. And honestly, I can’t blame them. When the drum kit starts moving through the air on a roller coaster track, you’re probably going to want some proof that you actually saw it! 😂 Tommy Lee continues to inspire countless drummers today to think big — not just about their playing, but about how they perform their parts. People rarely remember all the intricate drum fills we spend hours working out on the practice kit, but they will absolutely remember how your performance made them feel. And Tommy Lee, throughout his career, has done a masterful job of making his performances memorable to every person lucky enough to witness them. Tommy Lee — a living legend. #drums #drummer#drumsolo #motleycrue #tommylee
