I was strictly told not to start collecting until 36 weeks at the earliest bc it’ll go bad after a certain amount of time. I’m also 28 weeks and thought i should start too but all my doctors told me no. So now I just leak sticky colostrum all day every day😭

I’m 38, almost 39 weeks now. I skipped all the slower steps and busted out my wearable pumps to get the yitties started but obv I’m much further along. The hand pumps did nothing despite me seeing some colostrum for weeks before getting in the shower. I’ve got multiple 10mL syringes filled over the past couple days :)

i started leaking colostrum at 18 weeks, i WISH i would’ve collected it but i was too overwhelmed with HG during pregnancy that it totally slipped my mind but now that i have my baby my milk production has been really good and ive convinced myself it’s because i was an early leaker😭😭
