@dogstaroracle: The New Moon in Libra arrives on October 10th, and a diplomatic, peacekeeping Libra lunation this is not. This energy is dominated by the spicy Venus Retrograde, which stationed in Scorpio on October 3rd, and won’t be direct again until November 13th. Themes around this lunation may involve “breaking up” with something in your life. Libra rules relationship contracts and the rules of polite society. Venus, which rules this New Moon, is in a sign where she is not afraid to fight for what she wants and to go it alone if she has to. This is not a New Moon about keeping the peace, but about fighting for justice. In Scorpio, Venus is interested in depth and emotional honesty. Ruling women, femmes, and queer people, Venus is also precisely in a turbulent square with Mars, planet of desire, heat, and conflict during this New Moon. This can represent breaking with societal norms while fighting for justice and equality, or that asking for what you truly desire may rattle a few feathers.
